I think I know what pain you have had. I to have the same disease did the spit test and everything. I told my mom to take me to the doctor to make sure she won't. This infection also affected me mentally where it was always foggy and I was always felt fatigued my middle school year. I thought it was normal. So here comes racing heart almost had a heart attack from it. Then high school aggressive,confused,lost interest in things, Depressed, OCD,mood problems,etc it hit me hard.

Ok, so what is this yeast cleanse. I just did a questionaer which said a score of 180 or higher ment you prob had candidia, I scored 353. The only DR around doesn't acknowledge Candidia. HELP!

Update: After 2 mos. of yeast cleanse I have lost 40 lbs; 220 to 180. My blood pressure went down from 140/90 to 116/77 . My eyesight , hearing, sense of smell and ability to think has improved 150% . Also my blood sugar levels have stabilized . I find it amazing how few doctors are acquainted with candida overgrowth . Many treat the symptoms with antibiotics, just making it worse . The last doctor I talked to didn't know what candida or probiotics were . I had to explain it to him .

I made alot of mistakes when I attempted my first cleanse, although there were some benefits. But now after an agressive regimen for a month I actually have a pink tongue for the first time in my adult life. I used to think the white coating on my tongue was normal. Some might think ' yeah big deal ', but it sure is to me. With all the pain I have endured in my life, six months is a small price to pay. Also it would kinda be a bummer if I went off the diet too soon and the candida reestablished.

I commend you for going on it for 6 months that seems too dificult to me. I'm in the process of eliminating Candida and thread worms(parasites) which caused my bad skin allergies and leaky gut syndrome, my goal is three months though.

Actually I'm in the process of my second cleanse . It is suggested that the first six months that you abstain from sugar and starchy foods . Many suggest also avoiding all processed foods and fermented foods such as cheeses . I am also alternating between probiotics ; ie lactobacillus and bifidobacillus , and oil of oregano and olive leaf tinture .If you want to do an easy test at home, just google " candida spit test " . There are many sites describing this test .
